Joyner Homes is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk & Executive Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for guests, customers, trade partners, and vendors. This person will help create a welcoming office environment while also acting as an effective gatekeeper, handling day-to-day administrative support, light accounting-related admin tasks, and occasional administrative support for company leadership (e.g., scheduling, errands). The right candidate is polished, detail-oriented, and able to balance warmth with professionalism and boundaries.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist all visitors in a cheerful, professional manner
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls
  • Maintain a polished, welcoming, and fully stocked front office
  • Support owners with administrative and light personal assistant tasks, including errands and scheduling support
  • Assist the Controller with mail handling, invoice scanning, filing, and check preparation
  • Support office teams with general administrative tasks as needed
  • Run local errands such as shipping, returns, and office supply pickup
  • Help manage interruptions and walk-ins professionally while protecting team time
  • Support additional administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred
  • 1 to 5 years of relevant front desk, receptionist, administrative, or executive assistant experience
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Professional, courteous, and friendly demeanor
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Good judgment, time management, and follow-through
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Functional computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook; QuickBooks is a plus
  • Comfortable handling confidential information and setting respectful boundaries with visitors

Pay and Benefits

  • Full-time, W-2 employment 
  • Pay: $20 to $25 per hour, based on experience
  • 15 days PTO
